Sean Daley, aka Atmosphere’s MC, aka Slug, has made a career of exposing himself. Not in a trenchcoat in front of the grammar school kinda way, but on the mic. Fittingly enough for URB’s issue full of firsts, Slug might’ve been the first rapper to make an album about a girl. And even more vulnerably, the heartbreak she caused. Those were the Lucy Ford EPs, and while Lucy may or may not be the source of the sore in the story that follows, one thing is for sure, it could only be Sean. //

Adrien Brody (Leonard Chess in the movie) admitted during the premiere of Cadillac Records on Monday that making out and rolling around on the ground with Beyoncé, Etta James in the movie, wasn’t part of the script, nor was it historically accurate, but no one complained.
“Let’s just say it wasn’t a deal breaker,” Brody said. “When I met Etta [the real one], she told me, ‘Leonard and I did not do those things!’ So, yes, it was somewhat embellished. But what’s wonderful is the truth Beyoncé brings to that moment. That justified it.”
