This is a verse Crooked did on the “Swagger Like Us” beat when it first came out (right after Puffy did his) and it was supposed be Crooked and some other rappers on it but time passed and it never came out but this verse was so sick we had to drop it so were dropping it a capella for the fans, DJ’s, producers and up n coming rappers to do whatever they want with it put a beat under it make it a feature or whatever else they can come up with the BPM is 89 if you want to let any producers know..enjoy!

If you’re not familiar with us, we’re the production duo The Kickdrums. We work closely with Mick Boogie and DJ Benzi, and we’ve produced for artists such as 50 Cent, Joell Ortiz, Little Brother, Chamillionaire, Kid Cudi, and others. We’re making some major moves in 09 and I’d like to keep you updated and posted with exclusives as you’ll be hearing about us more in the near future!

Here’s a treat for your visitors. Before we get on our 09 ish, we wanted to highlight some of our best work from 2008… thus, our new mixtape, Smash the System! A compilation of our fav Kickdrums productions, this mixtape features appearances from Joell Ortiz, Joe Budden, Scarface, Ray Cash, Charles Hamilton, Kid Cudi, Freeway, Young Chris among others! We’re releasing this mixtape in preparation for our PRE-album set to drop later this month. Here is our collab with KiD CuDi for Kanye’s official remix album, Sky High.

While most of us were taking it easy over the Holiday period, Chamillionaire was hard at work in the studio, as usual, gearing up for the January 13th release of Mixtape Messiah 6, the soon-to-be-announced release of Mixtape Messiah 7 and of course, the 1st Quarter drop of his highly anticipated third album, Venom (Chamillitary/Universal Republic.)

Venom’s first single, Creepin’ (Solo) ft. Ludacris (at his maniacal best) is already on steady smolder mode since it was leaked in December and shows all the signs of an organically-grown hit. For those with a constant jones for freestyles though, we have provided a link below to download all of the latest, along with accompanying artwork, for your iPods, websites, blogs and general consumption.
