Interview after the jump!!!

Ok lets start off with a lil about yourself…

-Im 24, Bronx born and raised. I started rapping when i was about 15, or 16. Around the ages of 19,

and 20 is when i started to take it more serious and began my grind.

You’ve been featured on many different projects, mixtapes with Big Mike/ Superstar J..and even on Kush DVD..
for those who dont know Reem…tell us a lil more about yourself…cause you grew up pretty much on your own…

-Well i grew up with my mother who was a single parent of 3.

-My father has been absent since i was 3.

-My brother was living the street life so he was sent to live upstate which forced me to be the man of the house and look after my younger sister.

1. What is Reem Cassanova cookin up for us at the moment?
Yall can look out for me on 106 and park freestyle friday within these upcoming months for one.
I got my mixtape titled HOOD CELEBRITY out now.  Im working on a compilation mixtape right now with my I.N.S.
Family  And there is something im cooking up right now thats huge but i cant put it out there yet cause its never
been done before and i don’t want anybody to swipe my idea.
But i promise when its done, it’s going to change the game and mad people gonna try to jump on it.

2. Can we expect any upcoming album?

U can definitely expect an album from me as soon as i get some distribution. Which will be real soon after that meal im cooking is prepared.

3.  Yall Bronx rappers be showin love..always got each others back..How is it being from the BX?

Has yalls relationship helped you get to where u are now?

Being from the bx feels good. this is the borough that gave birth to something called Hip-Hop.
Alot of legends and pioneers came from the bx. Relationships always help. Thats why im doing this interview now.

4. Who has influenced you or inspired you to start rappin, cause before you was lost, and now music has found you!

Truthfully the first time i ever got inspiration to attempt to try and rap was when i first saw Ma$e video featuring Big and Diddy

Mo Money Mo Problems.  I remember taping that video 4 to 5 times in a row just so i wouldn’t have to rewind it to learn the lyrics.

5. How did u overcome your past? all the negativity from your dad and brother? how tough was that?

It wasn’t to tough at all. When your young and you look up to certain people they inspire you to follow in their footsteps.

Now if you take them people away you can’t follow in their footsteps anymore you have to make your own.

And thats how i overcame the negativity. And of course my mother helped by moving me to Queens.

6. Now you haven’t been signed yet, but ur still grindin…What labels you lookin at?

Well at this very particular moment i have to say Cash Money because if Wayne could sell 3 million records with Hip-Hop in the grave,

then thats where i need to be. I heard Eminem bout to drop too so his return should have a good outlet for any new artist signed to him.

7. How has the internet and the digital world helped promote you? Has that been successful?

I haven’t been  on top of my online game truthfully. Im just getting into it.

So if u ask me this same question in a future interview i promise ill be able to tell you.

8. How has your street life affected you?..has it hurt or helped you?
It definitely helped me in a few ways..
1.  It made me smarter.
2.  It gives me topics to talk about every time i write
3.  It taught me the values of life

9. Who are you in the process of workin with, or hope to work with in the near future?

Right now im in the process of working with everybody thats ready to work, my dude hash, and the militia right now.

10. Your almost at the peak of your game..but not fully there in the sense..

What advice do you got for those who in the same shoes as you? Cause ur still young!

My advice is reach 4 the stars and dont stop till u hit clouds cause sky is the limit.
